So I wake up to see that I have around 300 messages to read. My first thought was 'oh crap, either my account's been hacked or somebody's playing a prank on me.' Then I go to my messages to see that my UTRH animation has gotten a bunch of comments and faves. Then I clicked on the animation and saw the little DD stamp at the bottom. Then I freaked out. Then I was like, 'awesome.' Then I freaked out some more. Then I played some air guitar. Then I calmed down.

Holy crap, guys, thanks. I'm still new to dA, so I feel like I've received a very, very warm welcome. The credit shouldn't be given all to me, though. That animation is a joint project with a buddy of mine from school. He has a dA account, but he hasn't used it in forever. He graduated a year earlier than I did, so he's been busy making a living and supporting his fiance. Show him some love, too, and maybe he'll come back to dA. Truth is, I credit a lot of my growth as an artist to him. He and I kinda had a friendly competition thing going on in school. When we didn't do projects together, we pushed each other to do better while working on our own projects. We competed with each other to see who could come up with the better stuff. And he's the best smash bros. player out there, other than me, of course.

Also, I try to individually thank everyone for fave'ing or watching me, but between my 300 messages from this morning and the hundreds I've been getting throughout the day, I don't think I have the time or patience to thank everyone individually this time. So, instead, I hope you can accept this journal as my thanks.
